As Goochland Presbyterian continues to grow, our members and attendees are given more and more opportunities to serve one another. Whether it's in the nursery, welcome team, or setting up for our weekly service, new volunteers are always welcome!

Music Team
Use your musical gifts to lead our congregation in worship. We need vocalists, instrumentalists, and those who love helping others express praise through music.
Sound & Visual Team
Operate sound boards, manage livestreams, and create visual presentations that enhance worship. Technical skills welcome, but training provided for those eager to learn.
Communion Team
Prepare and serve communion elements, helping our church remember Christ's sacrifice in a sacred and reverent way. This behind-the-scenes service is deeply meaningful.
Prayer Team
Intercede for our church family, pray before services, and be available to pray with individuals who need encouragement. Your prayers are powerful and essential.
Welcome Team
Be the first smile people see. Greet guests at the door, answer questions, serve coffee, and help create a warm environment where everyone feels at home.
Family & Children's Ministries
Invest in the next generation. Teach, play, mentor, and help children discover who Jesus is and what it means to follow Him. Shape young hearts for the kingdom.
Outreach
Extend God's love beyond our walls by cultivating relational evangelism and local community connections. From hosting local community events to sharing the hope of Jesus in everyday life, this team helps us visibly live out and share the Gospel beyond Sunday morning.
Missions
Partner with God's work across the street and around the world. Through prayer and financial support, this team connects our local, national, and global mission partners while equipping and raising up home-grown missionaries from within our church family.
Mercy Team
Bridge the gap for those in our community experiencing need or requiring support. We receive individual requests as well as support the Goochland Christmas Mother, our local schools, and the operations of the Diaper Nest.
Finance Team
Steward church resources with wisdom and integrity. Help with budgeting, financial planning, and ensuring our ministry is built on a solid financial foundation.
Branding & Marketing Team
Share our story with the community. Design graphics, manage social media, write content, and help people discover what God is doing at Goochland Pres.
The Diaper Nest
Little needs, met with love. The Diaper Nest provides free diapers and wipes to families in Goochland County — no paperwork, no explaining, no strings. First Friday of each month, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, at the church office.
There are two ways to help: donate diapers and wipes, or join the team that hosts and restocks each month.
Serve Locally, Serve Globally
At Goochland Presbyterian, we believe that God's grace sends us out into the world to make known the good news of Jesus's death and resurrection. One of the ways we do this is by supporting people who are already doing this in Richmond, in the United States, and around the world.
